How to eat cocoa? 

Not for nothing is it known as the food of the gods, since the Aztecs and Mayans paid tribute for its great nutritional properties and of course, its flavor. Three substances can be extracted from the cocoa bean: cocoa liquor, cocoa butter and cocoa powder. 

Its nutritional properties 

Cocoa tops the list of foods with the highest antioxidant content, almost similar to green tea and red wine. It contains 50% fat in the form of butter, between 11 and 12% protein, 7 and 8% starch, and the rest is made up of water, fiber, organic acids and in smaller quantities it has sugar, theobromine, caffeine, and 300 more substances. The highest magnesium content is mainly in its raw form. 

And the Chocolate?

 When we convert cocoa into chocolate, it also has important nutrients for everyone: it provides a considerable amount of potassium, phosphorus and magnesium and a lower amount of calcium. It also provides vitamin B1, B2, B6, B3, vitamin A, vitamin E and folic acid.
